How can you help?

Therapeutic Riding lessons require 4 volunteers in order for one client to ride. Therefore in one group lesson we need 12 volunteer just to support 3 children riding.

- and wanting to help make a difference in someone's life!
Healing Strides has the following types of volunteering opportunities:
- Helping with therapeutic riding programs
- Sidewalkers - walk with the horse to help support the rider and provide safety
- Horse Leader - lead the horse during lessons and provide safety
- Barn Help - volunteers to help with regular barn chores and maintenance, also in helping to groom and give extra care for the horses
- Special Events - volunteers that are interested in helping with special events such as our annual Saddles & Bluegrass Hoedown, barn clean up days, and other fundraisers.
